However, there is still some way to go before the ultimate goal is reached.
In the 5 of Wands, there is no real substance yet, or anything real upon which to depend concerning love. The other cards in the spread will indicate if this state of undirected energy will change for the positive, or simply dissolve.
Some readers call the 4 of Wands the “marriage card” and considered it to denote marriage and romantic commitment. It is a very positive omen in a love reading, pointing to a relationship with potential for a long term and deep commitment. Image description
The image on this card shows four tall, slim tree branches standing on what looks like a stage or raised platform. There is a garland of flowers hung between two of the branches, tied on with ribbons. New growth shoots from the very tips of each branch. There is a castle in the background. In the corner of the image is the same bridge in the background of the 5 of Cups. Two people holding up bunches of flowers are shown just beyond the edge of the stage and in front of the castle. They are centred between the two middle two wands. There is another group of figures further in the background. Yellow is the main colour featured in this card. It is the colour of both the stage and the background. The castle is gray with red tipped turrets. The figures are wearing white gowns. One has a red overlay across the gown and the other a blue one. TarotCraft meaning Some readers call the 4 of Wands the “marriage card” and considered it to denote marriage and romantic commitment. I would be looking for other cards around it, such as 2 of Cups and Ace of Cups, to confirm this. Regardless, it is a very positive omen in a love reading and points to a relationship with potential for a long term and deep commitment. On its own, it represents friendship, community and celebration. It also points to a comfortable and stable home life and harmony between people and within communities. Work/life balance is a more modern interpretation of this card. Work hard, but also take time out to rest and connect with the ones you love. The appearance of this card in a spread can indicate that you are engaged in a successful partnership, union or relationship. TarotCraft Reversed meaning Still positive when reversed, you might just need a reminder to prioritise loved ones and the homefront rather than work or other commitments at the present time.
