I have always been a bit stumped at the advice often given beginners to "Pull a card for the day and look for how that card shows up." Surely that's just a recipe for confirmation bias, not to mention just handing your power over? So I came up with the TarotCraft system and applied a Gift, Invitation, and Challenge to each Tarot card, reflecting the lessons within the card in a way that can be practically applied to your life.
Asking "What invitation/gift/challenge does the Tarot have for me today?" is far more empowering than just pulling a random card and wondering what the message is supposed to be. How to do a one card draw: 1. Take a few moments to breathe and relax 2. Shuffle the cards, or use an app to pick a random card 3. You can decide if you want a Gift, an Invitation or a Challenge on it's own, or you can consider all three options. 4. Select the relevant card from the blog list for the reveal. You could also use Invitation, Gift, Challenge as a 3 card daily spread as well as a one card daily draw. How to do a three card spread: 1. Take a few moments to breathe and relax 2. Shuffle the cards, or use an app to pick three random cards 3. Place the cards face down, turning them over one at a time. How to interpret the three card spread: 1st card - Gift: the grace or ability already given to you. All you need to do is accept it. 2nd card - Invitation - offers an action to take or a perspective to consider 3rdcard - Challenge - lets you know what you need to overcome or deal with. Tip: the Gift is the key to resolving the Challenge. Listen to the podcast episode on the TarotCraft system here.

The other day my sister mentioned she is looking to learn how to read tarot cards. I do believe it is important to ensure they are skilled. I will definitely keep this information in mind.
