Something that is important to me as a Tarot reader and teacher is helping people to take action in relation to their reading. A reading should not be a passive thing. It should be a jumping off point for change and evolution. So I developed the TarotCraft system for anyone to not just read Tarot cards but to use them as catalyst for change in their lives.

I have always been a bit stumped at the advice often given beginners to "Pull a card for the day and look for how that card shows up." Surely that's just a recipe for confirmation bias, not to mention just handing your power over? So I came up with the TarotCraft system and applied a Gift, Invitation, and Challenge to each Tarot card, reflecting the lessons within the card in a way that can be practically applied to your life.
Asking "What invitation/gift/challenge does the Tarot have for me today?" is far more empowering than just pulling a random card and wondering what the message is supposed to be. You could also use Invitation, Gift, Challenge as a 3 card daily spread as well as a one card daily draw. How to do it: Step 1: Remove the 22 Major Arcana from the rest of your deck then shuffle the deck thoroughly. Step 2: Formulate your question. You're going to pull three cards for the answer Step 3: Concentrate on these 3 card spread positions - Gift, Invitation and Challenge Step 4: Now shuffle again while asking your question. (I ask the question 3 times while shuffling.) Step 5: Choose your three cards. How to interpret: The first card - Invitation - offers you an action to take or a perspective to consider in relation to the question. The second card - Challenge - lets you know what you need to overcome or take action on in order to achieve success in relation to the question. The third card - Gift - is the antidote to the Challenge. It tells you the innate quality you have that you can bring forward to meet the Challenge.
