The High Priestess: TarotCraft Daily Community Card 10 October 2021

Today’s Community Tarot Card is The High Priestess. She represents hidden knowledge. Not just occult secrets, but things within ourselves that are presently hidden from us. She reminds us that the better we understand ourselves the more we can help ourselves and others. This is especially true of the shadow self. If we don’t accept the offer of her guidance into our inner lives, if we press on without making any attempt to access her insight, we will do more harm than good.

Each Tarot card offers us a Gift, Invitation and Challenge. (Hint: the Gift is the grace that is already given us to overcome the Challenge.) Before you read on, decide if you want to know what Gift, Invitation or Challenge The High Priestess has for you.  All will be revealed below. The Gift of The High Priestess is to enter into a time of reflection and non-activity. Meditation and resting the mind will allow knowledge of the next step you need to take.  

INVITATION 

The Invitation of The High Priestess is to embark on a journey of learning and understanding.  

CHALLENGE 

The Challenge of the High Priestess is understanding that you don’t yet have all the answers you need to make a good decision. There are hidden pitfalls, but also hidden opportunities, yet to be uncovered.
