Question from Sweet Leo: I was seeing a guy before. I just like to know how he felt about me when we were together and how he feels about me now?

The card I drew for when you were together is the 2 of Pentacles.  When you were together your partner probably gave you mixed messages and was sometimes at a distance from you.  It was probably quite hard to get close to this man.  He was probably fairly undecided about his life in general and was quite focused on money and finances.

This card is the 8 of Cups and suggests that although he feels affectionate towards you and is probably still very fond of you, he wouldn’t choose to continue the relationship for reasons that have to do with him, not with you.

I was wondering if you could give me a free reading. What do you see in the future in my career and love life? I am hoping for changes in both areas - Marcelle.

1. Career - You seem to be bored and unhappy in your work, feeling as though you are going nowhere.  Your efforts seem to be wasted and you aren’t seeing real outcomes.  A job offer is possible around March which will take you in a direction that will ultimately be more fulfilling .  The first job may not seem like it, but it will lead to another one that will be more to your liking.  The action you need to take is to connect or network with people you know - the job offer is most likely to come through someone you know. You seem reluctant to do this but do your best.  Also, your Guides are telling me that you really need to get a number of projects or uncompleted tasks finished up in order to free up your energy at work and also that you have the opportunity to off load or delegate some of your responsibilities, but you feel it’s not worth the trouble.

2.  Your love life - there is a dark haired man coming back into your life in February.  THis is someone you had a chance with in the past but due to ‘youth and inexperience’ and a good dose of paranoia, it never went anywhere.  I don’t think this will be a long lasting relationship but I think it will leave you feeling better about relationships more confident about the future.  Presently you seem to be looking for comfort and love where there is none to be had. 

Q: Will ever get over my mom not being there for me and will we be able to ever have a good relationship.

There are real issues of control in this relationship.  She wants to control you and you want to control her, or at least modify her behaviour.  I get the sense that your mother’s mother is one of the keys in resolving this ongoing family issue.  How was your relationship with her and how was your mother and her relationship?

Your mother is eaten up by a terrible bitterness.  It’s something inside her that she triesto hide but it’s like she nurtures and grows it by not being able to let GO. What we focus on grows and she spends a lot of energy focusing on how she was hard done by or mistreated.  Are your parents divorced or has your mother been married before? The Hierophant and the 3 of Swords are coming up for her and they can indicate being betrayed in a marriage, but also feeling betrayed by god.

However the presence of the spritely Fool lets us know that there is new life ahead for your mother and therefore for your relationship with her. Try and find some forgiveness for her in your heart.   She may never be the mother you want or need,but I think there can be peace between you.

Q: Will you also ask the cards if my sister will ever get her act together and have a decent life?

A: I’m sad to say that without medical help and a good therapist, I don’t think so.  The cards I got for her are the Ace of Swords and the King of Swords alongside the 5 of Wands.  The 5 of Wands shows a constant level of chaos and drama in her life.  Not enough to make her want to change (yet) but enough to keep her distracted from the real issues in front of her. 

The Swords cards can indicate both legal issues and health issues and my take on these cards for your sister is that she is at the beginning of a legal situation that may take some time to resolve. 

Medically,I feel your sister may actually have ADD or some other learning disability.  She’s not unintelligent, but she can’t quite make things come together the way they do for other people.  she seems to be quite clever and creative but lacks a consistent outlet for this.  It’s hard for her to settle into the routine of employment.

I am also being shown an unresolved trauma that occurred in childhood but not the nature of it.  I feel people were dismissive of her concerns or feelings at the time so it was pushed aside and never addressed properly.  I also feel a strong sense of grief around her in relation to a child as well as her own childhood.  The King of Swords can also be a man who is critical of your sister, at best, and abusive towards her, at worst.  Can you comment on her r’ship with your maternal grandmother?

Q: I am currently studying a Diploma. Do you see me finishing this Diploma and will i be successful and open my own practice?

A: The cards I drew for you are the 5 of Pentacles reversed and the Hanged Man.  If you have been experiencing some difficulty lately, I feel this is passing, but there may be a time of no progress while things shift and change direction.  I think you will achieve the goals you have in mind, but there may be delays and setbacks before you get there.  If it’s what you really want, just keep on track and stay positive.  There are a number of big life lessons in this situation for you, and some issues with your family that you need to resolve before you can move forward.  I get a sense that you may have your ‘head in the sand’. 

Q: I’m currently studying naturopathy and am half way through my second year. I love the course and all that it has taught me so far both for my future practice and my personal life.  However, I am undecided about which direction I would like to specialise in.
Can you see a particular direction I will take with my studies? And whether it will bring me what I want to achieve as a practitioner?

 A: Let the chaos ferment a little longer.  By the time you finish what you are studying now, the way will be a little clearer. The main message here is for you to enjoy the journey and the destination will reveal itself.  Trust in your Higher Self to take you where you need to be.  The cards I drew for you are The World, Temperance and the 3 of Wands.  There is no doubt in my mind that you will find the success you are looking for, but I also think there is some international travel and study coming for you.  Keep doing what you are doing and let go of the need to control the outcome.

Q: What do you see happening with the man who is currently in my life?

A: The cards I drew for you ar ethe Queen of Wands and The Devil.  These cards indicate that there is great passion and chemistry in the relationship, but I think it will eventually burn itself out.  I don’t see this r’ship lasting the test of time.  I suspect you may find yourself rowing a lonely boat by the end of it, because you don’t give up easily.  I see you at a party wearing a blue dress and meeting a dark haired man.

“I dreamed I was in an airport and the loudspeaker announced the aeroplane would be leaving in 1 hour and 10 minutes for Rome. What does this mean? could you please also read my cards?”

There are three references to travel in this dream - the airport, the plane and Rome, which could also be ‘roam’, which means to travel. I would say that there are some changes coming up in your life which will take you out of your comfort zone but open up new horizons for you. An hour and 10 minutes is 70 minutes, so I would be looking for synchronicities around the number 7.

I drew a card for you as well and the card is the 6 of Wands. This card indicates succes in any endeavour, but particularly in exams and promotions at work. This is a very lucky sign for the next three months.

A friend of mine told me about your site and I thought I’d check it out and maybe ask you for a tiny bit of guidance with my health.It seems as if nothing that I’m doing with my diet/herbal medicine is helping me return to health after a virus has left me exhausted for YEARS now. I also have a congenital heart defect. I’ve tried many things to improve my energy, balance my body and slow down my anxious mind. I’m not sure where to turn now or what I can do to gain my health back. Can you assist in any way?

The cards I drew for you are the 4 of Pentacles, the Page of Cups and the 9 of Wands. What I feel these cards are saying to you is that it’s important for you to conserve your energy, both physically and financially as money = life energy. You are very sensitive and I feel that you are being ‘drained’ by those around you which can make it hard for someone to recover after an illness. There is an underlying issue that needs to be addressed - the diet and herbal medicine alone aren’t enough. What i am feeling is that this is something hormonal or related to the blood in some way. The chronic stress you have been under has also put you into a state of adrenal exhaustion, so it’s no wonder you are tired all the time. If you live in Sydney, the Dr Sandra Cabot clinic at the Broadway Medical Centre has women’s health specialists. If not, my feeling is that you need to find a dr who can give you a referral to an endocronologist. I’m also feeling that there is a lot of stress around the liver - it’s as though something is ‘poisoning’ your system, like a bad allergy to something in your environment. I can feel your energy slowing down, like it’s getting harder and harder each day to get up. If the virus you had was glandular fever, it can certainly turn into chronic fatigue if it’s not managed well in the recovery phase, so you should probably look into this if you haven’t already. I do actually think that with some more investigation you will be able to get to the bottom of the problem and not necessarily cure it, but manage it better than it has been. I’m also getting that you need to look into the health benefits of fish oils and slippery elm and that an anti-candida treatment will help as well.

Just wanting to see what the next 6-12 months may bring. I have a few financial issues and do you see any relationships heading my way ??

The card Strength indicates that a relationship is on it’s way to you soon - I’d say within the next 4-6 months. The Hanged Man is suggesting that you financial situation won’t change a lot over the next 12 months, but at least it won’t get worse!
