Tina’s free reading.

“Mid-last year I embarked on a career change and commenced studying herbal medicine. I was told by a another clairvoyant that this would be a good path for me, and that in fact I had abilities as a medical intuitive (which I thought at the time was quite bizarre because i had coincedently read alot regarding this field, but ive never been able to develop clairvoyance). Anyway, I have just finished my herbalism studies at the certificate level, and im finding that i have lost motivation to continue with studies in herbalism/western medicine, and im not sure if i should continue with studying the full diploma. Do you see me continuing down this path? ”

Tina the cards coming up for you are the 3 of Pentacles, the 5 of Swords and the 7 of Wands.

The 3 of Pents in the past position shows that the course was certainly the right thing for you to do then and it will still serve you well in the future.  The 5 of Swords shows that perhaps the study is taking more from you than you are willing to give at the moment, probably on an emotional level as well as a financial one.

The 7 of Wands in the future suggests to me that you will probably continue your study, but in a different direction.  I feel the way you have been doing things probably needs to change a bit to make things easier on you.  Take a break, do a more interesting subject - you don’t have to do it all at once.  If you’re bored or disinterested, don’t force yourself.  it may be your inner self telling you that it isn’t the right time to continue - education is a journey that you share with the other students as well as the teachers, so perhaps you need to wait for that combination to be right.  Do something that seems fun and exciting.  Life’s too short to ‘make’ yourself do things you’re not passionate about.

I actually agree with the clairvoyant who said you have medical intuitive abilities.  Clairvoyance is probably nothing like you think it is.  It sneaks up on you when you’re not really expecting it and you can’t make it ‘develop’.  You either have it to some degree or you don’t. That doesn’t mean a person won’t have intuition or sixth sense or gut feelings - we all have these.

I also feel that energy or vibrational medicine, like bush flowers or bach flowers, could be something for you to look at.  There is something about them that helps to wake up your right side of the brain - the right side is the creative, intuitive side.

The other thing that’s coming up is that one of the reasons you aren’t connecting with your clairvoyance is that you aren’t ‘protecting’ yourself.  That doesn’t mean you need to protect yourself from evil spirits, just that you are sensitive and need to protect yourself from being overly affected by other people’s thoughts, feelings and emotions.  We all drag this stuff around and it can impact the sensitive people around us.

Simple meditation, walking, chanting, using bush flower remedies like Fringed Violet and Angelsword, salt baths and white lighting yourself are all effective, as long as you do it regularly.

Working on clearing and balancing the chakras is also useful - it’s a big part of my early training.  I’m not a big doreen virtue fan but she has a good chakra clearning meditation cd.  Maybe have a listen.

If you are going to work in a healing or helping capacity, good boundaries and the ability to protect yourself is essential.  I did a great counselling course through the Institute of Counselling some years ago.

And lastly, the path from A to B isn’t always a straight line.  Let your instincts guide you with what to do next.  It’s not always going to be a logical, straight-forward path.

Home Run

I got an email from a girl I did a reading for on line. She asked specifically about her job search. I told her quite precisely what the job would be, the type of organisation it would be, how she would get it and when she would get it as well as an odd thing about the salary package. And I was right :) I love that.

Angel Reading

Wednesday, January 17th, 2007

Today I called up work and said I wasn’t coming in. I had a feeling that I needed to get a reading. I rang a couple of places and the only place that answered their phone or wasn’t disconnected was at FarAwayMall.

The woman was an angel card reader though. Blech. Anyhoo I felt like I really needed to go and I could always chalk it up to research if it was crap. I really don’t have a lot of time for so-called Angel Readers.

So in I went and she did her angel thing and I have to say, I was impressed. She was clearly not clairvoyant or psychic, but the information she was getting from the Angels, Santa Clause or whoever was really spot on and they gave me some excellent advice about how address my health issues and some other things I needed to be doing.

It really was a good reading. I ended up bawling my eyes out, as people do when the reading is close to the bone, but I feel I have a way forward now and that I can sort out this health thing. It has to get sorted because I am not prepared to live like this. I felt much better and unlifted when I came out.

She suggested some Bush Flower remedies that I haven’t used before so I will get some today. She also said to use some of the more uplifting essentail oils. My oil collection is pretty much run down - I haven’t replaced anything except lavender in ages. I need to buy some more anyway.

One of the things the “angels” said is that I am very good at the protective side of things and not getting drained by clients etc, but I am not very good at “recharging my batteries”. They said a lot more and it was from a perspective I hadn’t considered before and it really made sense. I could feel the angels; very tangibly - it was like being wrapped in something very soft and cool, and it’s a stinking hot day today.
