I borrowed Robert Wang’s Qabalistic Tarot from a friend and didn’t realise until I got it home that it was a first edition. I quickly put it up on a high shelf and will return it asap - I’m terrified I’ll do something awful to it.
I’m also looking for a good book on alchemy [...]

I recently purchased Hajo Banzhaf’s ‘Tarot and the Journey of the Hero’. I’m very interested in exploring Jungian archetypes and the Tarot, so I think this is a step in the right direction. His books have been highly recommended to me over the years.

I was in a secondhand bookshop on the weekend and I came across the Tarot for Cats by Kipling West and Regen Dennis. It was first published in 1996 and I have come across a few mentions of it and card images on the net over the years. I was tickled pink to [...]

The 8 of Cups shows the querant walking away from the familiar and into the unknown. The querant is taking an emotional risk and has no way of knowing if it will pay off or lead to more unhappiness. This card is a warning against putting too much emotional energy into the early [...]
